From our Puppy Families
Archie

We brought Archie home in March, and as I'm writing this the week of Thanksgiving, he's at the very top of my list of things I'm thankful for this year.
When I started looking for a puppy just after last Christmas, I knew I wanted to find the right ethical breeder. The moment I found Dawn's site and saw her dogs, I just knew. You can tell when someone truly cares, and Dawn is that person.
Archie is everything we could have hoped for and more. He's smart, sweet, and has the perfect balance of playful energy and chill vibes. He was so easy to potty train and has been a dream to work with. He fit right in with our family from day one. He and his "big brother" Duke are best buddies (even though Archie immediately took charge!), he gets along great with our cat, and my kids adore him. He's so friendly and loves everyone he meets. When we take him places, he's a natural center of attention, and honestly, he deserves it.
On top of being the perfect family dog, he's also been an incredible companion to me personally. He's always by my side, my bestest little friend. I love him so much.
Beyond raising wonderful dogs, Dawn has been such a blessing to us with her advice and support. I'm lucky enough to live close by so she's also our groomer, which means Archie gets to visit his mom and dad regularly. How special is that!?!
Pumpkin

One year old now, Pumpkin has been a dream dog. She is a very well bred dog, highly intelligent and the most lovable dog around!!! She loves all people, running up to all to lick and have her belly rubbed. Everywhere she goes she is loved. We couldn't be more happy to have her. She has been a huge blessing to our family and brought us tremendous joy. Before we got a puppy everyone was telling us how hard it is to have a puppy and train them. Nothing of the sort at all with her. She trained very easily and has been pure joy. The Johnson's breed very high quality puppies. I recommend them as breeders to all. I have had several strangers comment on what an amazing dog Pumpkin is and ask where she is from. Pumpkin has brought so much love into our home.

Peaches

Peaches is doing well - she's so smart! She's learned many commands and learns fast. She already fetches, twirls when I say "dance" and rolls over. I think she would be a great agility dog because she runs around the house going through an obstacle course that she's created- through the tunnel, around the coffee table, under a tv tray - it's hilarious. I more than love her so much - it's been a miracle change in my mental health having her. Thank you so much!
Raven

I found my constant companion through Dawn Johnson's Wine Country Poodles. Raven has been a source of great entertainment and encouragement through difficult times. She has been an amazing blessing for me. Dawn was kind and caring as she nurtured this little beast of mine for the very early stages. When Raven came to me she was already good with children and cats. Her health has been wonderful. Dawn has been there when I needed her for advice since this is the first puppy I have had in many moons and my very first Poodle.
