ADOPTION
We are committed to producing healthy sound puppies through comprehensive health testing of our breeding dogs. All parents are tested for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and undergo OFA evaluations for patellas, hips, and elbows to ensure proper structure and long-term mobility. In addition, our dogs are DNA tested for a wide range of genetic conditions, allowing us to make informed breeding decisions and prevent the passing of inheritable diseases. This careful approach gives our families peace of mind and helps set each puppy up for a healthy future.

Our puppies are raised in our home as part of the family with a strong focus on early socialization, helping them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. This is part of the Jane Killion's Early Neurological Stimulation and Puppy Culture methods. From a young age, they are gently exposed to a variety of everyday sights, sounds, surfaces, and experiences in a safe, positive way. We incorporate age-appropriate handling, enrichment activities, and early training foundations such as following, recall beginnings, and calm human interaction. Puppies are introduced to new people, supervised children, and different environments to build trust and adaptability. We also begin basic problem-solving and confidence-building exercises, setting the stage for a smooth transition into their new homes.
Alongside socialization, we place a strong emphasis on early grooming and gentle handling to ensure each puppy is comfortable being cared for. From a young age, puppies are regularly touched all over - their paws, ears, face, and tail - so they learn to relax during everyday care. They are gradually introduced to brushing, nail trims, bathing, and the sound and feel of grooming tools in a calm, positive environment. This early exposure helps prevent fear or resistance later in life and prepares them for both at-home care and professional grooming, making the experience stress-free for both puppy and owner.
Each puppy's temperament is evaluated to make sure we can make a good family match. This means a quiet and shy puppy will not go to a home with young children and a very active outgoing puppy will not go to a home with a less active family.

Each puppy will go home at 10 weeks of age with a puppy information packet, food, blanket, brush, and a favorite toy.

Puppies will go to approved homes with limited AKC registration with a spay/neuter clause. All puppies are $3,500.00. A $300 non refundable deposit will be required to hold a puppy.

We do not ship, so if this puppy is important to you then you must be willing to come pick the puppy up. If you live within a reasonable driving distance we can arrange for a meeting part way. Or take your vacation in beautiful wine country with everything from the countryside rivers and valleys to the charming towns to the 55 miles of coastline and boundless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Discover amazing wineries, beautiful redwood forests, and gorgeous beaches. And for the cherry on top, pick your sweet little puppy up!
